It is a requirement that any new private water supply pipes are disinfected before they are connected to mains water services.
It is also recommended that any pipework that has laid unused for a period of time should be Disinfected before being put back into use.
Stara Water Hygiene can provide a BS8558 Mains Disinfection /Chlorination service and sampling of new and existing mains pipework. We can undertake Internal/external, partial or complete building mains disinfection prior to connection or handover.
Stara Water Hygiene always operate to the relevant standards standards and are Local Water Authority Approved, we also hold WRAS Approved Ground worker accreditation.
We can also carry out Pressure Testing to BS EN 806 on request.
A Chlorination/Pressure Test certificate is provided on completion, and if required, full UKAS microbiology results from an independent laboratory approximately 5 days later.
