Why should You refurbish your water storage tank?
Following the practical guidance of the ACOP L8, Health Technical Memorandum 04-01 (HTM 04-01) we are all under an obligation to ensure that potable water tanks comply with WRAS / WRC & DWI water regulations in order to prevent or minimize the risk of Bacteria Proliferation within water systems.
Tanks that are in poor condition i.e. corroded Tanks or damaged GRP Gel coats can harbour bacteria and provide ideal condition for Bacterial Proliferation.
